Thankful & Blessed Charger Plate with Cricut Explore

I was recently invited to a Pinterest Party. It's where everyone brings an item for each person to make and you go home with all kinds of different projects. I didn't want to just copy a Pinterest idea, so I whipped out my Cricut Explore and came up with my own- a Thankful & Blessed charger plate. I love using my Cricut for home decor and especially to be reminded of how blessed we are.

Since I was making a project for lots of people I was really trying to keep the costs down, so I did a happy dance when I found this super cute ceramic plate at the Dollar Tree. I used a font that I had already purchased called Betterfly. I typed up each word separately and welded the letters together. Once I had the words where I wanted them, I selected them all and attached them so they would hold their positions when I went to cut.

I used white Oracle 631 vinyl and Cricut transfer paper (man that new tape is super sticky!) I cleaned the plate with alcohol and applied my vinyl. Such a big impact for such a simple project!

If you would like to make this project too, you can find the Cricut Design Space file here. And of course, if you make something we would love for you to share it on our Cricut Facebook group!
